Brittany Gitts, owner of Black Diamond Bookkeeping & Consulting Services, LLC has over 15 years of experience in the accounting industry. She graduated with her accounting degree in 2008 and hit the ground running, putting that degree to use.
She started off working as an assistant to a business controller for an import/ export company in Portland. From there she wore many hats with a moving and storage company over a span of 8 years. Starting off as the cash receipts person, moving quickly to various departments in the accounting department at their corporate office. She ended her time with them as the liaison between the 8 branch locations that span Oregon and Washington to the programmer in charge of customizing their accounting software. From there she became the payroll manager at a CPA firm along with supporting the CPA’s with the preparation of tax returns. In 2014 she opened her first bookkeeping and payroll company and then in 2019, she opened her second, Black Diamond Bookkeeping and Consulting.
Along with getting an AAS in accounting, Brittany is also a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.
